CISDI has formed a strategic partnership with Sinosure Chongqing.

Sinosure, the China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation, is a major Chinese state-owned enterprise. It is the only organisation in China to provide export credit insurance, particularly for high-value goods, technologies and services. It also provides insurance for overseas projects and investments and is an independent legal organisation. Under the terms of the strategic partnership, Sinosure will provide insurances for CISDI’s overseas marketing and the two organisations will seek out further mutually beneficial opportunities.

At the signing of the agreement, CISDI’s chairman Xiao Xuewen commented: “CISDI is a leading exporter of China’s iron and steel technologies and equipment and is on a path for greater global expansion. In the new era of developing greener and more efficient steel plants, CISDI is a pacesetter.

“Our metallurgical construction teams have world-leading abilities in total solutions throughout the entire steel process and we are enthusiastically exploring the ASEAN and Indian markets in response to the Belt and Road Initiative and expanding our reach to international clients.”

CISDI’s reference projects for Formosa Ha Tinh’s steel plant in Vietnam are flagship examples of overseas construction, full-process and full-function services projects.
