Smart copper smelting plant at Jinchuan Group, Gansu, China

Jinchuan Group’s plans to build a smart copper smelting plant in the region will boost the Gansu Province’s transition to smarter manufacturing.

The smart plant will feature the CISDigital® industrial internet platform plus applications. It will be the platform’s second breakthrough application in the nonferrous metallurgical construction sector.

Its first implementation was in China’s Hubei Province for a digital copper smelting plant created at Hongsheng, which operates under China Nonferrous Metal Mining Group (Daye).

The Jinchuan plant’s production and management data will be collected and utilised to support production and operations.

CISDigital® solutions will enhance Jinchuan’s copper smelting standards - from process flow streamlining, dynamic procedure collaboration, resource allocation and distribution to smart decision-making.

Smart wire and cable plant at Gold Dragon Copper, Chongqing

The CISDigital® industrial internet platform has been selected for the smart upgrade of a wire and cable plant at China’s Gold Dragon Copper Group in Chongqing’s Wanzhou District.

All GD Copper’s data, from production lines and equipment and information tech systems, will be collected, stored and communicated via the platform.

The plant’s production plan, its manufacturing process, quality, equipment and energy controls and its logistics and distribution will be developed, issued and implemented via ops management.

A variety of manufacturing operation management (MOM) APPs will be created as orders for the company’s wire and cable products grow.
