Special tube rolling equipment manufactured by CISDI Equipment Co has been accepted by Changqiang Steel after critical inspection. 

The Jiangjin-based manufacturer implemented a high standard of technological planning, manufacturing process control and tightly managed out-sourced procurement schedules and quality control. 

There were many complex challenges for the team. The line’s taper piercer mill and its 3-roll mandrel pipe mill, stretch reducer, extracting mill and auxiliary equipment have complicated structures and their manufacture required high precision, difficult machining processes and a large quantity of casting and forging. 

Strong communications between CISDI HQ’s engineers and CISDI Equipment’s team ensured the manufacturing process ran smoothly. 

Changqiang’s Ø127mm special tube rolling line is designed to produce high-quality oil country tube goods (OCTG), pipeline pipe and boiler tube in an outer diameter range of 32 to 140mm, a wall thickness range of 3.5 to 16mm and in lengths of 6-13m. 

The supply to Jiangjin follows successful deliveries of CISDI Equipment Co’s state-of-the-art 3-roll tube rolling lines to Linzhou Fengbao (Ø89mm), VALIN Hengyang (Ø89mm), Hebei Dalipal (Ø159mm) and Chengde (Ø127mm).
