Hot on the heels of one successful delivery to Yongyang Special Steel, CISDI is now set to fulfil another big order.

The company will be supplying Yongyang with rolling mills for producing special steel medium and flat bars.

It previously delivered Yongyang’s universal mill-based heavy and light rails rolling line equipment.

CISDI’s specialisms and manufacturing skills will create a state-of-the-art special steels production line for Yongyang, setting a green, low-carbon, intelligent and innovative benchmark in China.

CISDI is taking on the line’s design, technological leadership and mechanical-electro-hydraulic equipment supplies.

The line is projected to produce 600,000 tonnes of dia. 36-130mm medium bars and 8 x 50mm -100 x 200mm specification flat bars.

The main special steels grade will feature alloy structural steel, quality carbon structural steel, pinion steel, bearing steel, spring steel, cold heading and cold extrusion steels, unquenched steel, mechanical steel, flat for lift truck’s fork and spring flat.

The line will feature CISDI’s proprietary tech and equipment:

✔        NHCD short-stress path rolling mill

✔        BRSM high-precision 2-roll reducing and sizing mill

✔        High-precision TMCP system.
