Chongqing Steel’s new LDG holder has been successfully started up.

CISDI was its EPC-based service provider.

CISDI designed the 120,000-cubic-metre, rubber membrane LDG holder to be safer, more efficient, green and energy-efficient.

It features balanced, stable gas storage, well-performed sealing and easy access for operation and maintenance procedures.

The holder’s two-section membrane structure works with oil-less lubrication and is power-free.

CISDI applied labour-reduced, intelligent monitoring and regulation systems to conduct real-time, automated control of the holder’s inlet and outlet valves, level and CO content.

When the holder’s level reaches an over-high or over-low value, the intelligent monitoring and regulation system will make an automatic regulation for the holder operation via the valves. A signal is sent to the steelmaking plant for cross-procedure interlock when necessary.
