CISDI is to provide environmental consulting services for Guangxi Steel’s Fangchenggang plant.

The contract includes an emission permit application, as-built environmental acceptance and environmental emergency response plan for Fangchenggang’s Phase 1, for which CISDI is currently building two 3,800 cubic metre blast furnaces.

A number of CISDI’s core technologies are applied to the furnaces:

Ÿ   Full cast-iron coolers

Ÿ   Innovative soft water enclosed circulating system

Ÿ   Hearth’s graphite wall

Ÿ   Innovative serial-hopper no-bell top

Ÿ   Super-clean emission

This is CISDI’s third full-process environmental consulting reference in China, following successful projects at Baowu Group’s Zhanjiang Steel and Jiangsu Yancheng Steel, which will reach the targeted final production capacity of 10 million tonnes a year.
